TOPCU, a progressive and innovative Tucson Credit Union, where the work is rewarding, and your contribution is recognized, is seeking an experienced Universal Banker to join our team. Pay range for this position is $17.00 to $19.50 per hour.

We will be offering a $1,000.00 sign-on bonus for this position. Candidates applying through a recruiting firm, and current TOPCU employees will not be eligible for this bonus.

You will have the opportunity to be a part of a small team of professionals that make a big impact.

You would be responsible for:

• Building relationships with our members to ensure our service reputation.
• Originate and open all types of member share, share-draft, share certificate, IRA and all other types of member deposit accounts.
• Educate the members and cross sell products that will allow them to reach their financial goals.
• Make effective referrals to other specialists when appropriate.
• Execute and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely manner.

You will have effective time management skills and be a team player that consistently aspires to grow and improve.

Requirements

We are looking for someone that is willing to become a certified financial counselor; exams and study materials will be paid for and provided by TOPCU.

• Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to master new computer systems quickly
• Ability to make product/service recommendations that meet members financial needs
