PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:

The Installation Technician will be responsible for all aspects of the mechanical installations process of high-tech imaging and diagnostic systems.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performing mechanical installations, delivery, and calibration of hospital grade medical equipment such as PET, PET/CT, SPECT, SPECT/CT and CT equipment.
• Setting, leveling, and anchoring equipment per installation manual
• Pulling cables and making cable connections per installation manual
• Troubleshooting onsite construction and equipment issues and communicating directly with customers and TTG staff about project to arrive at amicable solutions
• Following all federal, state, and local regulation regarding radiation, calibration, and safety
• Abiding by all OSHA Safety Regulations
• Completing all required internal and customer required paperwork
• Attending all required TTG projects and training events.
• Responsible for following all standard operating procedures and company policies.
• Instructing Trainees on how to properly and safely install, deinstall, and lead equipment installations
• Traveling weekly travel to customer project sites, travel may be extensive and unpredictable.
• All other duties as assigned by management

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Work is performed at hospitals, clinics, and physician offices.
• Employee must be able to work in confined areas.
• Drive to and from facilities in all-weather situations.
• Travel may be extensive.
• Schedule may be unpredictable.

OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE:

• Work environment may involve exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment.
• Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt dust, fumes, unpleasant odors and loud noises.
• Performance of job duties has a reasonably anticipated risk of occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens or other infectious materials that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate Degree in Electronics, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering or other relatable disciplines.
• 0-5 years previous experience with large medical device installation.
  • Previous Installation experience of Medical Imaging Equipment with major OEMS is a plus, but not required.
• Must be able to travel extensively without any restrictions as we do operate nationwide.
• Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• You can lift and move up to 75lbs. and fulfill other physical requirements customary for this role incl. climbing ladders, working in smaller confined spaces or aloft, etc.
