TT Electronics is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Operational Excellence team. This role will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes/products by working collaboratively with Design Engineering and Production team members.

Essential Functions• Plans and implements new programs and products into production in a timely and cost-effective manner. • Provides technical support to the production team for immediate corrective actions.• Identifies and provides cost and operational justifications for new technological, equipment, and tooling needs. • Defines, designs, and drafts tooling and manufacturing requirements for new and existing programs. • Identifies potential manufacturing-related risks on new and developing programs, as well as develops risk reduction plans to eliminate them. Familiar with Product Failure Effects Mode Analysis (PFEMA) and Design Failure Effects Mode Analysis (DFEMA).• Utilizes Lean and Six Sigma principles to ensure that manufacturing requirements for efficient processes and practices are addressed on a timely basis. • Effectively utilizes TWI and Job Instruction, and provides guidance as needed. • Leads continuous improvements activities within various programs and projects. • Effectively utilizes TWI and Job Instruction, and provides guidance as needed. • Utilizes Lean and Six Sigma principles to ensure that manufacturing requirements for efficient processes and practices are addressed on a timely basis. • Creates and modifies work instructions and operating procedures, as needed.• Other duties as required and assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. • Three to five years of related work experience in manufacturing operations preferred. • Experience working in the Aerospace and Defense industry a plus. • Proficiency with AutoCAD and 3D CAD packages required.• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings is required. • Demonstrated analytical expertise is required, including adeptness at root cause identification. • Experience with geometric dimensioning tolerance and statistical tolerance methods is a plus. • Excellent written and verbal skills to interact with a wide audience of internal and external customers is required.• Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.• Knowledge of working requirements of AS9100 quality standard is strongly preferred.• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is a plus. • Meets vision requirements specified by quality management system. • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
