TSI Engineering is stablished heavy civil engineering contractor, is seeking motivated, high energy, self-starter to serve in the role of Construction Superintendents to be a part of our successful management team. We have an extensive portfolio of public projects that will provide you with the opportunity to challenge and grow in your career as a Construction Superintendent.

Responsibilities:

The superintendent’s role is to ensure whatever is required to facilitate the construction of the project on site from beginning to completion. Supervising Construction Workers and trade professionals to perform all Civil construction trades. The Construction Superintendents primary responsibility will be for all onsite activities of a construction project ranging from start-up to punch-out, with their industry experience and formal training, people in this role are able to direct, supervise and troubleshoot routine issues that occur on the job site.

Reporting to a Construction Project Manager, the Construction Superintendent's responsibilities will also include, but will not be limited to:

• Understanding our client’s needs and the scope of the project
• Reviewing all drawings, specifications, and submittals
• Overseeing daily operations at a worksite to ensure the completion of projects in a safe and efficient manner.
• Facilitating and encouraging subcontractor coordination
• Quality control and ensuring all subcontractor deficiencies are corrected.
• Daily progress reports and weekly schedule updates. Weekly Meetings along with Minutes and Documentation
• Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needs
• Project Coordination & Project Controls
• Walk and inspect construction site daily to verify compliance with company and OSHA safety requirements.

This candidate will work with the Project Manager to help achieve the respective project management objectives.

Qualifications:

successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience managing safety and construction on civil engineering projects. Candidate must be computer proficient, able to prioritize tasks, and effectively communicate verbally and in writing with clients, and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
