We are seeking proactive, highly motivated, and results driven Business Analysts for a one year max term position based in Blackburn. The role is suited to applicants with experience in either Retail, Governance and Compliance, or Banking and Finance, with experience with Retail systems for charitable organisations, highly desirable. Reporting to the Business Analyst Team Lead, you will be an integral member of a highly effective and established Strategy & Enterprise Projects team ensuring TSA deliver programs and projects effectively and efficiently and helps build project and program management capability within the organisation. The key responsibilities of the role include: Manage analysis activities including strategic initiatives, enterprise projects or business-managed initiatives Produce current/future business state analysis, business case documentation, business systems requirements, development of policies, procedure and standards documents, and options analysis for project decisions Review and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes Gather, interpret, and translate business needs Assist in the investigation of solutions and provide detail allowing the scoping and planning of projects Conduct Gap Analysis on systems and functions Analyse and consolidate information to develop business cases Provide recommendations on potential enhancements Assist with the preparation of accurate reports, tenders and other documents Identify, manage, and escalate business analysis related risks and issues, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies. Our ideal candidate will have a demonstrated work history as a Business Analyst across a wide range of complex organisations in project related and customer interfacing roles with Agile experience desirable. Tertiary qualifications in Business, IT or associated fields preferred. To be successful in this role you will have: Experience in People leadership, business analysis/transformation, process improvement/re-engineering, data analysis, system functional / non-functional analysis experience and business case preparation experience Exceptional stakeholder management, relationship building and engagement capabilities The ability to understand business needs and objectives from a customer centric as well as a perspective centric point of view Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and emotional intelligence skills Ability to use analytics and insights to support recommendations Excel (Advanced), Visio and Project-related skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
