Overview

The purpose of this job is to monitor the pay/no pay decisions with the officers/branches, also process the exceptions and incoming returns accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and process the NSF exception items on the DSS and Pay / No Pay systems; also review no/closed accounts, dormant accounts, two signatures required, high dollar ($10,000 ), fraud and other queues for completeness on DSS.
• Serve as a back up for others when more assistance is needed.
• Balance and forward specific transaction code items to a specified department, including ticket work as necessary.
• Review and close various programs before committing items to post.
• Print, burst, insert and mail advices/IRD’s (image replacement documents) to customers.
• Key images on the remote capture system.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of banking industry
• Knowledge of bank transaction (check, card, ACH) processing
• Knowledge of return item/exception item processing preferred
• 10-key calculator

• Ability to learn and follow instructions according to bank policies and procedures
• Analytical skills
• Leadership skills
• High school education
• Two (2) years related experience
