TruStile is seeking at Manufacturing Engineer to join our Northwood, Iowa Engineering team and will report to the CI Engineer Manager. This position will be hands-on and capable of implementing robust initiatives that will support the growth of the business. The qualified individual will have continuous improvement experience and a proven track record implementing lean manufacturing practices.

Highlights of your role:
· Evaluate manufacturing processes utilizing lean manufacturing techniques to identify waste.
· Become a subject matter expert on new production equipment and create detailed work instructions to train operators, supervisors, and maintenance.
· Develop waste reduction plans and provide ROI justifications for improvement projects.
· Utilize 5S principles to organize product workflows and workstation set-ups.
· Create standard work for critical processes that incorporate maintenance schedules to ensure process reliability.
· Establish consistent work procedures across all departments based on the best practices to ensure predictable outcomes.
· Be the site leader when new designs are launched to ensure manufacturability and repeatability
· Be an active driver and supporter of problem solving
· Provide consistent and ongoing support to production to create a culture of continuous improvement related to safety, quality, and efficiency.
· Track and audit the results of improvement projects.
Requirements
You are a good fit if you have:
• 2-5 years’ experience as a manufacturing engineer is preferred, with at least a bachelor’s
degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Preferred demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment, with responsibility for project scope, timelines, and budget.
• Experience in building-products or millwork industries is a plus.
• Demonstrated hands-on expertise or formal training in lean manufacturing.
• Computer proficient (Microsoft Office and AutoCAD).
