WHERE:Irvine, CA(onsite)
TheAccounts Receivable Clerkwill provide financial, administrative, and clerical services for our team and clientele. The AR duties will include ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of operations by processing, and monitoring incoming payments, as well as securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Processing accounts and incoming paymentsin compliance with financial policies and procedures
Perform day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables’ data
Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
Verify discrepanciesandresolve clients’ billing issues
Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
MUST-HAVE'S:
High school diploma or GED is required (Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related fields is a plus)
1 years of cashierorbilling experience
Excellent customer service and phone skills (client-facing role)
Some understanding ofbasic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations
Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
NICE-TO-HAVE'S:
Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk, Accounts Receivable Manager, or Accountant preferred
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations
Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (excel, Quickbooks, etc)
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
