We have offices in New York, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, London, and New Delhi. We welcome you to work in any of our offices, but you also have the opportunity to work from home.

About the role: 

The Manager of Marketing Activation is responsible for day-to-day program implementation for trade, as well as various client, efforts. This includes implementing process, communicating with partners/clients, and key internal, as well as external, stakeholders to ensure trade efforts, as well as custom advertising campaigns, are implemented with excellence.

In this role, you are responsible for flawless implementation of TMB’s marketing activation product, working with various trade partners, internal sales, Account Management, various internal producers/developers and content teams to ensure the activation of custom content and digital products across all TMB brands are delivered upon. You will be focused on media trade marketing activations such as partnerships, events, email campaigns, etc. with various industry partners. This role reports to the Director of Activation.

About you:  

You are a stellar project manager, process-centric at every turn of your approach and can express your point of view through written and verbal presentations. You are passionate about content across mediums and categories ranging from entertainment and pets to food and home (and more!) You roll up your sleeves to manage multiple trade partners and client efforts. You are an effective communicator who is adept at communicating with trade and client partners, as well as with various internal teams.

Your day-day: (aka Responsibilities) 

  • Thoughtful implementation of TMB’s trade and client marketing program activations to support our company messaging, as well as sales organization achieve revenue goals
  • Liaise with key stakeholders on a day-to-day basis to deliver best-in-class Marketing Activation product of TMB trade and client programs, including:
    1. Timeline and project management (trade- and client-facing, as well as internal)
    2. Lead kick-off calls for trade and client initiatives
    3. Close partnership with Account Management team and product producers to deliver custom digital and video activations
    4. Work with various external individuals inclusive of trade partners, writer and video producers
  • Eager to identify opportunity to drive value and efficiencies in process and activation product 
  • Support management and development of the Coordinator of Marketing Activation in their day-to-day duties
  • Owner of key ongoing projects
    1. Activation Process document: maintains document that showcases process/workflow for the Activation Team
    2. Industry and category intelligence: shares examples of new products and unique partnerships in the marketplace
    3. Client spec document: continuously updates to reflect additions or changes in specs across all TMB products

You have: (aka Qualifications) 

  • You have experience in media trade marketing implementation, as well as paid client programs, across all media channels, especially custom digital and video products
  • You have at least 3-5 years of marketing experience and a proven track-record of managing produced quality trade and client programs
  • You excel in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously with superior organizational and communication skills
  • Proven track-record of effective communication and ability to make impact quickly within a cross-functional role
  • Experience working on various levels of activations
  • Experience working with content producers (digital, print, video)
