TrueSense Marketing is Hiring an Accounts Payable Associate Near Warrendale, PA
Job Summary: The accounts payable associate will accurately process accounts payable invoices and prepare vendor payments. Coordinate with accounts payable team, purchasing and vendors to resolve issues, identify gaps and streamline processes. The accounts payable associate will also serve as cross-functional support for the accounts receivable department.
Essential Functions:
- Process invoices to ensure timely vendor payments.
- Charge expenses to accounts and departments by analyzing invoices.
- Verify accuracy of purchase order receipts.
- Create final customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Issue invoices and statements to customers.
- Ensure all costs are recognized on the proper jobs.
- Reconcile accounts payable accounts.
- Assist in processing cash requirements report weekly.
- Process vendor payments by preparing checks.
- Correspond with vendors as needed.
- Verify and reconcile vendor statements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Support accounts receivable team as needed.
Position Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- Communication - Demonstrates excellent use of the English language (grammar, syntax, vocabulary); possesses the ability to communicate effectively and continuously with internal as well as external customers; composes clear/complete emails.
- Customer Service - Anticipates the needs of others as well as clients, acts upon those needs appropriately, and help remove barriers to excellent customer service.
- Problem Solving - Digs into problems, investigates all aspects, gathers facts, and recommends solutions.
Education and Experience:
- At least 3 years of recent relevant experience.
- Associate Degree in Accounting or Business-related field.
- Strong computer skills including all Microsoft products (Outlook; Excel; Word; PowerPoint)
- Job Specific Programs: Printstream and Adobe.
