TrueNet Communications is seeking Laborers in the Phoenix, AZ area with asphalt and concrete repair experience. Successful candidates will have experience with asphalt OR concrete repair; however, experience with both is highly preferred.

The Asphalt and Concrete Laborer performs a wide variety of manual duties in support of asphalt and concrete repair projects. This role performs tasks involving physical labor at road/highway and heavy construction sites.

Essential Position Functions

• Perform variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in, roadway, excavation, parking lot, sidewalks, and infrastructure projects.
• Lay asphalt and mix, pour and smooth out to even out potholes or other damaged surfaces.
• Assists in patching asphalt with hot and cold mix.
• Pour and smooth concrete
• Construct small to medium concrete forms.
• Assist in various tasks on construction projects.
• Minor service / maintenance on equipment.
• Other duties as required.

Education and/or Experience:

• 1 years of roadside construction experience is preferred.
• Competence with hand and power tools required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL is preferred).
• Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
• Able to effectively handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communications skills.
• Must be able to work alone, and with a team.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

• This position requires use of all general office equipment
