True Manufacturing is Hiring a Photographer Near O'Fallon, MO

Overview

The Product Photographer for our in-house studio is responsible for creating quality imagery

using creative camera techniques and digital retouching skills. This position will engage in a full range of projects from in-studio to on-location shoots along with our corporate functions like Pedal the Cause and our team sporting activities.

Responsibilities

For a candidate to be considered, a portfolio of work must be provided, preferably accompanying the application.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Photograph simple to complex tabletop, food, large product photography and room settings.
  • Shoot Corporate images to be used for website and other promotional material.
  • Photograph merchandise for eCommerce using a 360 camera and still images.
  • Execution of photography requests from our internal ticketing system.
  • Photograph on location in a variety of different settings.
  • Travel out of state a few times per year for photo shoots.
  • Taking group photos and head shots as needed.
  • Basic propping and styling of photos.
  • Extensive knowledge of studio lighting.
  • Digital retouching, the ability to produce clipping paths, color correction including advanced color manipulation and intricate compositions.
  • Maintain digital assets.
  • Ensure deadlines are met by juggling multiple projects with minimal supervision.
  • Manage day to day organization of the studio.
  • Ordering of merchandise for daily shoots.
  • Collaborate with design team and internal clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in fine arts/Photography or related experience required.
  • Five or more years’ experience as a professional photographer, experienced in a commercial photography studio required.
  • Proficient in computer software, Lightroom or Capture One, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Bridge, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Macintosh Computers.
  • Knowledge of DSLR cameras.
  • The ability to work independently.
  • Up to date knowledge of photography technology, trends and equipment.
  • 360 Camera equipment and software a plus.
  • Video experience a plus.

The hours for this position are 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
