About the Role: This position will help to support the Financial Planning & Analysis Global Product and Investments team. This will include financial reporting, strategic planning, forecasting, financial modeling and partnering with the business. The position will be responsible for analyzing the financials of the business to identify and communicate areas of financial risk and/or opportunity. They will possess a mix of complex business analysis and problem-solving skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and knowledge and interest in asset management and global trends. A successful candidate will work independently to meet deadlines receiving minimal guidance and hold self-accountable to meet and exceed objectives. They will utilize collaboration and organization skills to work with the larger team as well as the full FP&A organization. Role Summary: Requires in-depth knowledge and expertise in their own job discipline and working knowledge of related disciplines. Leads projects or work streams within broader projects. Accountable for work of self and sometimes others, provides process and standards advice in area of specialty. Works independently, receives minimal guidance. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Delivers complex financial analytics and reporting. Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of own work. May provide guidance to less experienced team members, as needed, and contributes to the achievement of team goals. Responsibilities: Performs complex historical analyses to support end-to-end processes within Finance, including the support for the period close, analyses of performance such as forecasted period revenue and expenses against actual results, and metrics and scorecard reporting. Identifies and monitors broad trends and potential implications for processes and decision-making. Updates/refines short-term and long-range forecasts and methodologies using multiple inputs and assumptions to reflect changes in business strategies and business intelligence in the competitive environment impacting lines of business. Conducts trend analysis on financial data and operating performance. Assists in developing recommendations on improving efficiency and effectiveness against benchmarks. Participates in the development of annual operating, capital, and strategic plans. Compiles financial information and conducts analysis as needed to evaluate the financial impact of new projects and business opportunities. Typical Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration and 5 years of total relevant work experience. Preferred Qualifications: Confidence and ability to interact with senior leadership Excellent verbal and written communication skills Advanced Power Point and Excel skills High proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing complex financial data into meaningful executive summary statements Responsive, team-oriented approach with excellent client-service skills for effective relations with internal clients Experience in financial systems (i.e. Oracle, SmartView) Knowledge of accounting principles Knowledge of Financial Services Industry Advanced Degree or certification (MBA, CPA or CFA) Regional Requirements: FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role. Minimum salary (USD) starts at: 71500 (Colorado only*) Salary range minimum is one component of our total compensation and benefits package. *Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado.
