About The Role: The Junior Project Manager role sits in the Enterprise Change Office (ECO), supporting large scale, complex and multi-functional programs of work. The role will be specifically supporting Global Investment Operations sponsored programs, but the nature of such programs will extend across many business units including Investments, COO, CFO, and Technology. The role reports to the Program Manager for the Performance Target Operating Model (PTOM). Candidate will provide project support of the production of program governance deliverables for a strategic body of work to modernize target state architecture and operating model that supports TRP’s strategic growth goals; enhancing global support, improving client experience, streamlining operating costs, and rationalizing calculation engines. This is mission critical to our business as a whole and will be defining our core platforms and operating model for the next decade. Role Summary Accountable for successful execution of a small project of limited complexity or lead a workstream within a larger project. Effectively partners with project or workstream sponsors, stakeholders, and management to ensure the strategic goals and objectives of the project(s) are met and deliver the desired business value. Conducts analyses, reporting, and related activities in support of assigned projects, under general guidance of more experienced project managers. Conducts issue/risk tracking, creation of work breakdown structures, scheduling, effort estimation and tracking, and other project documentation preparation. Reports and escalates progress/issues as needed. Engages other colleagues/resources as necessary and assigns appropriate tasks to support achievement of project plan. Key Responsibilities: Program SharePoint manager: New site development & maintenance, site access permissions, information updates, organizing artifacts. Organizational management program artifacts (e.g., project roadmaps, vendor deliverables, statistical data capture). Provides support of project tracking and dashboard reporting, ensuring compliance to standards & governance structure. Ensure timely and accurate update of program RAID log; monitor actions to address risks and issues, assist project managers with follow up. Assist Project Manager as needed or in absence of (e.g., liaise with vendors, product owners, and tech project managers). Provide updates to Program Management on a regular or ad hoc basis. Assist Program and Project Managers with project inception and closure materials. Provide detailed summary of meetings as required, ensuring communications are produced to a consistent high quality. Organization of steering committee meetings; contribute to production of steering committee materials; production of steering committee meeting minutes. Organization of working group meetings, contribute to production of working group materials, production of working group meeting minutes. Maintain lessons learned register and assist Program Management in facilitating the lessons learned process. Maintenance of program decision log (e.g., liaise with business and technology partners) Maintenance of Program Structure / Org Chart. Scheduling and maintenance of program calendar events and vacation tracker. Typical Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND 0 years of total relevant work experience Preferred Qualifications: Desire to learn and develop a career in change management. Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, including excellent interpersonal skills. Excellence driven, proactive, self-starter/autonomous, organized, task oriented, flexible, and pragmatic. Team player with strong time management skills, process oriented, logical thinker. Ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task and quickly adapt to changing priorities of strategic objectives. Strong MS Office – SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel skills - including pivot tables Experience navigating a matrix environment. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to identify potential obstacle, forecast constraints, and synthesize data points. Ability to participate in project meetings; documenting discussion and next steps for stakeholders. Basic understanding of Project Management & PMO concepts. Basic understanding of the project life cycle and tools /techniques/standards within each phase. Regional Requirements: FINRA licenses are not required for this role and will not be supported.
