Tropic Supply is the place for you! We are the largest independent, family-owned HVAC and refrigeration wholesale distributor in Florida, and here, people matter. We are looking for you to work with us as a Non-CDL driver willing to work to help our customers and our team. 

The Non-CDL Delivery Driver is responsible for driving Tropic Supply trucks and vans with 3 tons or more capacity to transport and deliver cargo or materials to specified destinations and customers. This position is also responsible for providing exceptional customer service, interacting with internal and external customers, vendors, and contractors, and continuously demonstrating behaviors and actions consistent with the Company's core values.

Job Duties are as follows but not limited to:

• Maintain truck log
• Physically inspect items for damage
• Properly clean and inspect vehicles daily
• Safely and accurately operate vehicle equipment to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed, Including but not limited to safely operating a sit-down forklift, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and participating in annual warehouse inventory
• Maintain warehouse clean 
• The ability to walk, bend, push, stoop, squat, and climb
• Ability to lift Up to 75 lbs
• Familiar with bills of lading, packing lists, and purchase orders
• Ability to develop relationships with customers and provide a high level of customer service
• Must be able to attend to details accurately and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must be able to work with a minimum amount of supervision under stressful conditions.
• The ability to drive for up to 11 hours and work an average of 50 hours per week transporting hazardous materials and sitting for extended periods in a truck.

Requirements

•  Valid Driver's License
• Medical Certificate is required
• Minimum two years of verifiable experience
• One year of general warehouse experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to read and speak English.
