Troon is Hiring a Food Beverage Manager Near Naples, FL

The F&B Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation of all food and beverage outlets of our full service club. Planning, organizing, coordinating and controlling of operational outlet functions. The F&B Manager will be responsible to coordinate the activities of the food and beverage staff to deliver quality product and service to all members/guests. Also responsible for interviewing, selecting and training food and beverage associates for an efficient operation. Will also manage and oversee all daily responsibilities of the club’s upscale, a la carte dining room.

Compensation Range is $60,000-70,000 based on experience.

Essential Duties:

  • Sets and implements schedules for the restaurant(s), banquet and beverage cart
  • The majority of each day is to be dedicated to management and supervisory
  • Manages and assists in the ordering of all alcohol beverages, maintains liquor pour cost, implements recipes and retail pricing of
  • Works closely with the kitchen to ensure expedient ticket times, excellent food quality and proper plate presentation. Give guidance toward improvement and make necessary adjustments for consistency.
  • Move throughout facilities and kitchen areas to visually monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standards are
  • Assists in the completion of all month end inventories to include the kitchen, bars, and beverage
  • Assists the Director of Food and Beverage with budget development and Provides cost analysis through monthly written
  • Engages in process improvement activities in all areas of F&B.
  • Assists in the marketing of the restaurant and catering departments, both internal and
  • Assists in the managing the floor of all banquet

  • Promotes and implements all Troon standards, procedures and
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, developing, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving
  • Manages department members that may include, but is not limited to: Outlet Manager, Assistant Outlet Manager, Host, Set Up Staff, and Servers.
  • Assures that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate. Assists managers in training and development of staff in order to provide most positive customer service and employee well-being.

Physical Demands:

Frequently stands, walks, tastes, smells, talks, listens, uses hands, and reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches. Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.

Environment Noise:

Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather), near moving mechanical parts, near fumes or airborne particles, with toxic or caustic chemicals and in extreme heat or cold (non-weather). Noise level is moderate.

Certificates/Licenses:

Food Safety and Applicable Sanitation Training, Alcohol Awareness Training.

Job Knowledge:

  • Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English)
  • Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
  • Working knowledge of wine, spirits and regional cuisines
  • Demonstrates Leadership ability including skills to communicate and express ideas and directives clearly to associates
