TriTech Enterprise Systems, Inc. (TriTech) is looking for an "AWS Engineer" to support a Federal Government client. The AWS Engineer will be responsible for managing and monitoring VPCs within the VICCS Intelligent Automation Platform (IAP).
Required skills/Level of Experience:
- 3 years of recent hands-on experience with Appian BPM
- Experience in leveraging AWS tools and services to support the management of VPCs on complex platforms.
- Familiarity with cognitive, automation, and related emerging technologies and techniques.
- Broad-based general technology ecosystem and industry understanding.
- Ability to understand and communicate the concepts of the solution. This includes network requirements, event monitoring solution, ticketing system and the associated integration bridges between those systems.
- Familiar with business designs: business models, functions, processes, job roles and customer interactions as well as how they are impacted by digitization, AI/automation and emerging technologies/techniques.
- Must have a AWS Certification.
Nice to have skills:
- Experience with Public Sector Clients (US Federal, Higher Education, State and Local Governments)
- General knowledge and experience with leading automation software products
DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND TASKS:
To support an ongoing enhancements to the Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS), a paperless claims processing system used to establish, develop, decide, and pay claims; transitioning to an electronic and consolidated mail processing service wherein end users access and process mail electronically; mail automation leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to perform actions previously taken by humans; and automated outbound communications. Combined, these improvements have allowed VBA to provide more benefits to more Veterans, more quickly and with improved accuracy. The improvements also decreased inherent bottlenecks and inefficiencies that led to processing delays and errors caused by manual processing. While these actions have helped VBA increase claims processing efficiencies, more has to be done to increase efficiencies to ensure Veterans continue to receive world-class services.
NOTE 1: This position is currently remote. However it will be located in Washington DC.
