TRIPP ENTERPRISES is Hiring a Warehouse Picker/Packer Near Sparks, NV
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, pick materials for customers’ orders, or to support manufacturing departments work orders. Moves stock, tooling, fixtures, scrap, regrind, pallets, etc. to and from various departments. May load and unload cargo carriers, stack and otherwise store merchandise in designated areas, pack and unwrap merchandise when required.
Qualifications/Requirements of Position:
- Must have good communication skills in English, both oral and written.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- 1 year warehouse experience.
- Ability to lift at least 75 pounds.
- Must be forklift certified.
Essential Functions:
- Warehousing of production tools, parts, and scrap materials.
- Stock production tools as required.
- Service manufacturing department with production tools, trimming tools, raw materials, components and cartons.
- Organize scrap and regrind recycled materials.
- Service grinder with scrap materials and pallets.
- Maintain an orderly and clean working environment.
- Maintain parts and tooling logs.
- Service cutting department with gaylords and pallets for scrap materials.
- Participate in cycle counts of inventory items.
- Ensure quality control standards are maintained while meeting production schedules.
- Move product safely as required from Area to area.
- Pick, pack and prepare goods for shipment while insuring goods are packaged correctly, following shipping instructions as set forth on customer order.
- Pick work orders as assigned and deliver to appropriate production departments.
Additional Responsibilities:
Operate small to medium size trucks or other Company vehicles for local delivery or pickup of lots of merchandise or freight. Responsible for correct pickup and/or delivery of proper parts or merchandise, careful handling, and maintaining schedule of pickups and deliveries. Prepares products for shipment including weighing and addressing of parcels or crates, attaches bills of lading and keeps records of material shipped. May load and unload cargo carriers, stack and otherwise store merchandise in designated areas, pack and unwrap merchandise when required.
Attendance Requirements:
8 hour shift Monday through Friday.
Hourly Position: Overtime as required.
