What we are looking for
Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Senior Information Technology Program Manager to join our team in support of an upcoming contract with our Federal Government.
Location: Fully remote. The selected candidate must be currently located in, or willing to relocate to, a state supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MD, MI, MN, MS, NC, NJ, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA.
The Senior IT Program Manager will be responsible for the overall direction of the program. Liaison between the contract, subcontract, and government. Accountable for ensuring contract deliverables are submitted on time and within established quality criteria. Provides strategic, expert advice and consultation on program activities to ensure efficient implementation of internal processes and procedures. Manages short- and long-term organizational goals. Monitors and evaluates staff and program effectiveness.
The successful candidate will be accountable to:
- Manage day to day operations of project staff
- Ownership of contract performance and customer relationship
- Primary point of contact for the customer regarding to program performance
- Utilize PMP methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement program strategies.
- Provide strategic guidance to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with NSF regulations and cybersecurity standards.
- Manage program risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Monitor program performance and prepare reports for stakeholders.
- Consults and advises internal leadership and external stakeholders
- Ensures stakeholders have actionable and timely information.
- Leading a collaborative team including senior federal officials to deliver solutions.
What you bring
Experience, Education, and Training:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 15 years of experience directly managing Project Managers/Leads in an Enterprise IT/large-scale digital transformation environment.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
- CISM, CISSP (or Accociate), GSLC, or CCISO certification is required.
- Understanding of ITIL or CMMI process maturity frameworks.
- Project management experience using the Agile Scrum methodology and project management frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing federal IT compliance requirements, team effort (including subcontractors), and budgets within a federal contracted environment.
- Strong background in cybersecurity practices and principles.
- Successful experience leading teams across multiple physical sites.
- Demonstrated experience with IT Operations Support projects.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience leading a virtual team.
- Knowledge in various security tools such as Splunk, Encase, Tenable, CyberArk, and Trellix Platform.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
