Position Summary
This position will support several projects in the DC Metro area. The role is hybrid, to include field work, office, and work from home. This role is one of five team members, creating a high energy, collaborative, and diverse work environment. This team will not fall to the status quo, this team is challenged to be innovative and creative.
· Facilitate the safety portion of the pre-bid, pre-construction, and monthly progress meetings.
· Conduct safety leadership training for all management personnel.
· Review contractor project specific safety plans.
· Create and deliver training to increase industry knowledge, worker participation, and claim reduction.
· Identify performance improvement initiatives.
· Cultivate an engaged, and informed safety culture.
· Review risk assessments on high hazard work activities.
· Ensure all contractors are enrolled into the Rolling OCIP.
· Conduct accident investigations to determine causal factors and a safe plan of action.
· Review the emergency action plan for each active site.
· Conduct a periodic claims analysis.
· Conduct quarterly performance and climate assessments.
· Collaborate with the contractors to reduce and/or eliminate Potential Serious Incidents and Fatality events.
· Conduct daily site inspections with detailed reports.
· Remain or become connected to the local construction community with association involvement and interaction.
Requirements
· CHST Required
*Trinity will reimburse the CHST exam costs and annual fees. Successful candidate must pass the CHST exam within 90 days of hire as a condition of employment.
· Construction safety experience
· Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
· Proficient with technology and Microsoft office
· Motivated and self-driven
