We are looking to hire a RN Supervisor for our NEW Neuro Surgical Trauma ICU and Step-Down Unit at our Level II Trauma Center in Boise! This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd.

As a RN Supervisor working in the NeST you will:
Have an opportunity to work in a Level II Trauma Center and a Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center
Obtain leadership level experience working in the FIRST and ONLY Neuro Surgical Trauma Unit in Idaho
Be part of a growing unit that is developing its staff to provide next level neuro care
Work withthe only board certified, fellowship- trained neuro critical care doctors in the state
Be part of a pioneering program in the Treasure Valley and Idaho
Provide next level care for critically ill neurological patients
Spend 50% of your time performing supervisory duties and 50% of your time providing patient care
Be part of three person leadership team in the unit
Assist with responsibilities including (but not limited to) scheduling, preceptor development, orientation schedules, process improvement, patient quality and safety metrics, and staff education

General Requirements:
Colleague must have an Idaho RN license issued prior to hire date
Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of nursing leadership and supervision as normally obtained through a bachelor’s degree in nursing with three years of RN experience in acute care or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at date of hire
Prior ICU experience required
