Position Purpose:
The Food Service Assistant has primary responsibility to be assigned based upon daily need (i.e., dish room, hot food dipper, runner, beverage position).
What you will do:
Responsibility includes cleaning and sanitizing soiled service ware and equipment in both the kitchen and cafeteria, setting up hot food workstation, assembling patient food trays, and delivering floor stock.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED).
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service operation.
- Experience in a cafeteria type food services operation preferred.
