Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provides supervision for all aspects of food production preparation and handles the administrative responsibilities for the production team. Contributes to retail revenue, operating cost containment and profit and loss for department.
Produce quality food to patients and caf customers using DHSS, JCAHO, CMS, NSF/Ecosure, HACCP and Trinity Company guidelines, policies and recipes.
Participate in the planning and preparation of special events.
Responsible for departmental sanitation to include kitchen, refrigerators, freezer and storage areas.
Handle and respond to customer complaints in a professional manner. Supervise Production and Caf Staff, Train and Develop Employees.
Write schedules for Production Staff.
Participates in Colleague disciplinary actions.
Responsible for Opening and Closing of department Procedures.
Participate in Ordering, Inventory and Food Cost Control.
Minimum Qualifications:
3-5 years cooking experience(Healthcare preferred)
Stress Tolerance/Flexibility
Customer service oriented
Effectively communicates with customers, staff and management
Analytical Thinking
Ability to read, breakdown and expand recipes
Technical Skills
ServSafe Certification
