Description:

Assists in transportation of emergency labs. Provides technical support to the anesthesia providers and the surgical team. Supplies required equipment in a timely manner. Following proper procedures in stocking and cleaning of anesthesia carts and equipment. Has an understanding of the operation of equipment used in anesthesia. Provide supplies and equipment as needed during surgical procedures to the anesthesia provider. Completes the anesthesia turnover between cases, not delaying the start of the following procedures. Assists the anesthesia providers in difficult airways and as needed. Provides the needed equipment and supplies used in other Ambulatory locations Yes Provide for patient safety by ensuring that equipment utilized, is correctly set up. Follows all guidlelines for processing and setting up of endoscopes and endoscopic equipment. Follows universal standard precations when cleaning equipment. Cleans correctly anesthesia equipment between patients.Team member functions Attend anesthesia staff meetings and inservices. Communicates effectively with coworkers and anesthesia providers following all department rules and regulations. Assist all co-workers as needed. Identify opportunities for department improvement. Anticipate the needs of the anesthesia providers and other members of the surgical team. Participate in quality improvement projects and initiatives.Any other assigned duties as needed by the department.
