Information Technology Manager

The Information Technology Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, organization, and execution of all information technology within the organization. This position will carry out the support and maintenance of existing applications and the development of new technical solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, and anticipating organizational requirements
• Maintain the organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans with Technical solutions.
• Direct research in emerging technology by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects
• Conduct system audits of technologies currently utilized at all levels of the company
• Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery, backup procedures, information security and control structures
• Work with the Operations Manager to prepare an annual budget for expenditures related to IT
• Install hardware and peripheral components, including all computers, phone systems, security systems, access controls, and POS systems
• Provide direct IT support for all employees by assisting users with computer and networking issues
• Repair and maintain all computer related equipment for the Amusement Rides or Midway Games
• Load appropriate software packages such as operating systems when needed
• Administer the companies Google Workspace Account
• Troubleshoot and resolve user issues relative to all corporate software in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot, Resolve, and Provide solutions for employee access, hardware, and software issues
• Install and troubleshoot LAN's, WAN's, VPN's, firewalls, routers, hubs, and switches
• Configure networks fully, including VM's, active directory and printers
• Lead all hardware and software evaluations
• Maintain relationships with vendor contacts and maintain all contracts with approval from the operations manager
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization IT standards
• Assist with arcade technical repairs and installs as needed
• Other duties as assigned

The ideal Candidate will have enterprise networking background with wireless (Ubiquity), voice (NEC), video, data and security skill set, and SQL server programming experience. 

• Secure IT server infrastructure including server lockdown, configure multi factor authentication
• Scope and implement security camera project
• Support NEC phone (maintenance and move, adds, & changes).
• Maintain our server room, including spare parts and cabling.
• Maintain hardware for network infrastructure, such as servers, switches and access points.
• Run and terminate cables including cat6 and fiber, source materials, scope projects.
• Maintain servers and clients (computers, laptops, swipe readers or POS systems). This will also include any wired or wireless device that interacts with our network.
• Setting up wired and wireless connections between devices.
• Troubleshoot network failures and provide technical support to employees and our customers.

Knowledge of or experience programming an open API to integrate POS with accounting software. We use Intercard for the arcade and Square for restaurants and Quickbooks Enterprise Desktop as our accounting platform. 

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields. This may be substituted for equivalent years of experience
• 5 years of experience within an information technology position
• Experience in the most current technologies
• Understanding of network architecture and client/server technology
• Software development abilities preferred preferred but not required
• An understanding of Google Workspace programs and applications
• Strong problem solving and communication skills required
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Able to stand and walk for up to eight hours at a time
• Bi-manual dexterity / Able to use arms and legs to operate equipment and to climb stairs
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds from ground to shoulder height
