Overview

The Facilities Team Leader will assist the Facilities Manager in ensuring all Trilogy properties and locations are well maintained in a safe, orderly, and comfortable manner for all employees, clients, and visitors. They will perform routine repairs, maintenance, and janitorial services. The Facilities Team Leader will work closely with clinical and administrative departments to schedule, prioritize, and coordinate maintenance work. They will provide supervision to janitorial staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repair and maintenance of all Trilogy properties and locations; i.e. drywall repair, installation of window blinds, replacement of light bulbs, painting, etc.
• Perform outdoor maintenance of building locations; i.e. yardwork, snow removal, etc.

• Ensure cleanliness of properties and locations. Provide back-up janitorial support as needed 
• Monitor building grounds at agency’s main location; e.g. parking lot usage 
• Assemble, install, and move furniture and equipment as needed 
• Conduct regular walk throughs of all Trilogy properties and locations. Identify potential safety hazards and maintenance needs. Assist with facility inspections.
• Ensure agency vehicles receive timely maintenance; i.e. vehicle repairs, oil changes, tune-ups, car wash, detailing, etc.

• Provide direct supervision, monitor performance, and coach all assigned team members. Train new employees to provide quality services. Ensure continued education and training for assigned staff to strengthen services provided. 
• Consistently enforce agency policies and procedures. Communicate agency initiatives.
• Responsible for agency alarm response 
• Recommend modifications in service structure, operation, and agency policies. Develop effective plans to improve department performance.
• Maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures and ensure all Trilogy locations have adequate supplies as needed 

Qualifications

• Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination and booster by the date of hire to be considered. Proof of vaccination required. 
• Minimum two year janitorial experience required
• Basic knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations, etc.
• Handyman and supervisory experience required.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license with daily access to a well-maintained vehicle with $1,000,000/$3,000,000 liability insurance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents and technical procedures/governmental regulations; i.e. safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, etc.
