Cogir Senior Living, formerly Cadence Living, is hiring Certified Med-Techs in our community in Germantown, MD - Tribute at Black Hill Assisted Living & Memory Care. Our Medication Care Partners (Med-Techs) provide direct care to our senior residents following a personalized medication and treatment plan. Currently Hiring for: Part-time & PRN - flexible scheduling 4-hr, 6-hr, and 8-hr shifts available.

Weekend availability is required.

What will you do as a Medication Care Partner?

• Support residents in their activities of daily living, by providing compassionate care, engagement, and companionship.
• Assist in monitoring the medication program.
• Set up and assist with self-administration of medication.
• Order and receive medication; Keep medication files and medical records current and up-to-date.
• Prioritize and provide encouragement and emotional support to the residents.
• Encourage and assist with participation in activity programs.

If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat:

• Positive team player attitude and love working with people!
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Must have a Medication Technician Certificate (Med-tech or Med Aide license) per state requirements.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
• Previous experience working in Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), Memory Care (MC), or Senior Living experience is a plus!
