Tribune Media Company is Hiring a Sales Assistant Near Chicago; 303 E Wacker Drive, IL

The DR Sales Assistant will be responsible for various aspects of account management while providing timely and accurate information to the Sales team and clients. The position acts as a liaison between the sales and planning departments, traffic, billing and ad agencies. Ensure all orders are booked and revised according to specs & guidelines and are booked properly in the system for assigned account executive(s) Maintenance of deals including flight changes, programming restrictions, and order revisions Work with Traffic and P&I to manage pre-emptions and weekly avails Provide weekly log updates to agencies Foster effective relationships with internal departments (not limited to Traffic, Marketing, Research, Programming, Pricing & Inventory) and external contacts (agencies and buying contacts). BA in business, marketing, communications or related field, or equivalent education with minimum 12 months related experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Wide Orbit experience a plus. Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Attention to detail is a must. Flexibility to work overtime during peak sales seasons
