About the Role:

As Director of People Operations at Tribe Gaming, you will be responsible for establishing, building and leading every aspect of the People function. This hands-on role will span across people operations, recruitment and onboarding, performance management, employee development and engagement. You will have a unique opportunity to establish, develop and maintain the impact of the people function, partnering closely with business leaders to align the People practices to the overall business strategy. You should bring energy and passion to the organization with a people-focused mindset, be curious about (mobile) gaming and demonstrate comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

What you will be doing:

As a collaborative leader, you will be responsible for be leading and overseeing all aspects of the organization’s People and HR operations practices including:

• Partnering with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s people operations strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
• Implementing core People Operations processes and systems that promote efficiency and an open and inclusive culture.
• Leading talent acquisition in partnership with hiring managers to create and drive hiring strategy and process.
• Collaborating with the leadership team to create and iterate on the company’s goals and strategy related to performance management, employee engagement, succession planning, and retention.
• Partnering with the leadership team on organizational design and execution plans to support necessary change management.
• Defining and leading internal communications regarding programs and events such as all-hands meetings and celebrating wins in a manner that drives engagement.
• Designing and maintaining fair and equitable compensation structures, including budget planning, and performance cycles.
• Managing all employee relations issues, including resolving conflicts and addressing concerns raised by employees.
• Owning the payroll and benefits function including ongoing payroll administration, benefits claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees.
• Lead and own the day-to-day office administration and management including coordinating with landlord, office space planning, etc
• Staying up-to-date with specific employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance within the company.

What you should bring:

• 7 years’ progressive human resources experience including generalist or HRBP experience with ownership over multiple aspects of people operations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field of study.
• Ability to roll up your sleeves to get things done one moment, and in the next participate in complex strategic discussions and projects.
• Ability to effectively navigate and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to own complex projects with various stakeholders within a fast paced work environment.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to adapt to the needs of the organization.
