Quality Assurance Coordinator

Summary:
Responsible for leading by example and encouraging adherence to our guiding principles and compliance standards. As Quality Assurance Coordinator you will be responsible for assigned duties while participating in our continuous improvement projects to broaden our core Quality Assurance functions for Tribe 9 Foods.

Hours and Work Schedule:

The work schedule is Monday – Friday from 10:00am – 6:00pm, occasional weekend work and overtime is required.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist QA Department in organizing Food Safety and Quality documentation.
• Maintain schedule of monthly/yearly activities.
• Filing all QA related paperwork and entering data into spreadsheets.
• Track and trend data to create reports to QA Department to ensure information is up to date and audit ready.
• Assist in ensuring all Quality controlled documentation, both electronic and printed, is up-to-date and accurate prior to audits.
• Help with preparing and/or collecting required documentation or other evidence as requested during audits.
• Creates and sends customer COAs.
• Help in maintaining inventory of lab supplies.
• Looking for creative ways to continuously improve the Food Safety systems.
• Other duties assigned by QA Manager.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

• Highly detail oriented.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor of Science preferred, but relevant work experience may be considered.
• Proficient with Excel and Word.
• Good Communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills.
• Must be fluent in English, fluency in Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing facility that produces product with allergen ingredients.
• Availability to work flexible hours as required.
