Role: AWS Architect

Employment Type: Contract for 6 months

Location: Remote working till June 2023, must be willing to work from Columbus, OH post June 2023

Trianz is looking for an AWS Cloud Architect with 12 plus years of experience in architecting and managing AWS platform, develop and maintain infrastructure solutions for complex cloud problems.

About the Role

• Architect would show business acumen and is responsible for understanding the breadth and depth of client business processes, systems and requirements.
• Knowledge and experience in management of AWS infra (networking, security roles/policies), auto-scaling infrastructure setup/support, AWS Data Lake, Terraform serverless deployments, Lambda automated task creation and administration.
• Knowledge and experience of AWS best practices, models and techniques for team software development and deployments.
• The Architect will be responsible for facilitating discovery sessions client personnel to review current business processes/systems and document future-state architecture design solutions.
• Understand the client's automation goals to support the development of software solutions to meet or exceed those goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Support/troubleshooting for AWS Infra (including new account provisioning/decommission, Security Group administration/security roles/policies, networking, Cloud Protection Manager).
• Support and troubleshooting of AWS data lake, Terraform serverless deployments, management of accounts and auto-scaling infrastructure setup/support.
• New account provisioning/deprovisioning.
• Upgrade of Sophos UTM.
• Administration of AWS feeds to Splunk including (VPC via Firehose, Lambda CloudWatch via Firehose, Guardduty Kinesis stream via Lambda, Cloud Trails, CloudWatch via Firehose).
• Experience in Lambda automated task creation and administration.
• Administration of Log rocket infrastructure.

Required Skills

• Minimum 10 years for AWS/Cloud experience. AWS Solution Architect Certification preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge and experience in AWS programming and architecture.
• Experience in designing and deploying scalable, high available systems on AWS.
• Excellent technical architecture skills, enabling the creation of future-proof, complex global solutions.
• Identifying the customer requirements, analyzing the alternatives, and conducting product recommendations related to the platform, software, and network.
• Knowledge of security policies, network security, data security and security event management to adopt cloud security services.
