Summary Description

Assists with the overall administration, organization, and implementation of small and/or medium size projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential

• Assists in creating and delivery of job submittals.
• Assists the project manager in developing and/or reviewing job schedule as needed.
• Assists in coordinating with Purchasing Department the acquisition of project materials.
• Assists in coordinating tool and equipment requirements with warehouse.
• Assists in ensuring that all permits, licenses, and inspections filings are completed.
• Assists in the set-up of job site offices and storage facilities.
• Attends all job meetings as required.
• Organizes job records as required.
• Assists in coordinating requirements for vendor and shop drawings.
• Assists in drafting and organizing change order requests.
• Assists in ensuring timely completion of all project close out activities including punch list items, as builts, warranty letters, etc.
• Recommends improved methods of operation.
• Assists with additional projects as given.

Job Requirements

Skills/Education

• High School degree with some College education.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting project deadlines.
• Detail oriented.
• Excellent human relations skills.

Physical Requirements

• Working 40 hours/week, scheduled in 8 to 10 hour shifts.
• Vision adequate for daily and consistent computer use and reading.
• Sitting 6 to 8 hours/day.
• Lifting weights of 0 to 30 lbs. from floor to above shoulders.
• Repetitive use of hands for writing, typing, data entry.
• Hearing adequate for phone usage.
