TRI-COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES, INC. is Hiring a Program Assistant Near KANSAS CITY, MO

*COVID vaccination required, or approved medical or religious exemption prior to hire.
POSITION SUMMARY 

This position administratively supports the 988 and mobile crisis response teams. This is a 95% remote position. In addition to clerical duties, this position will be responsible for coordination of clinical referrals and information across the teams. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Provides administrative support, as requested, by members of the Crisis Teams. 
• Administrative clinical duties within EHR including data entry, opening charts, coordinating referrals and running reports. 
• Takes, composes and distributes minutes for department and committee meetings as assigned.
• Copies and collates documents, meetings, training materials, and event packets. 
• Assists with filing, mailing, routine correspondence and budgets when requested. 
• Assists with onsite and collaborative trainings, meetings and conferences. 
• Gathers resources (deliver if needed) requested for area events/resource fairs and help to staff and coordinate events. 
• Demonstrates professional conduct and courtesy to peers, consumers and community as a representative of TCMHS. 
• Program Compliance and tracking.
• Team training and equipment tracking.
• MO Connect system referral and tracking.
• Zero Suicide involvement and community outreach 
• Other duties and/or responsibilities may be assigned by supervisor. 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
Education/Certifications: 
• High School diploma or equivalent required 
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience Required: 
• 1 to 3 years of position related experience required. 
Required Knowledge: 
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting various deadlines.
• Manage and execute tasks in a professional manner (grammar/spelling, etc.)
• Accreditations such as certified administrative professional (CAP) are also preferred, not required. 
Skills/Abilities: 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Demonstrates ability to maintain schedules.
• Able to maintain an engaged, positive attitude in an ever-changing environment
• Excellent customer services skills including oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with a wide variety of people. 
• Ability to operate basic business equipment.
