TRG is Hiring a Senior Accountant Near Dallas, TX
This position supports the Accounting Manager on all financial information including analyzing accounts within the general ledger for financial statements along with reconciling and preparing supporting schedules. This position is also responsible for general accounting, maintaining the organization’s overall accounting systems, procedures, and policies. Our ideal team member is individually motivated, highly organized and has strong communication skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Record deposits and banking transactions, issue daily cash report
- Initiate wires, ACH’s, banking transactions for stop payments, and void checks
- Health plan reconciliation and entries
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Create and coordinate settlement runs, weekly, ad-hoc and as needed
- Facilitates transactions & reporting related to Sales tax reporting
- Responsible for Fixed Assets (including disposals, recording dispositions, setting up new, monthly depreciation and reconciliations)
- Handles property tax renditions & reporting
- Closes time and hours, monthly for ME
- Records/facilitates Cost of Billing for ME (until WD automated)
- Records/reconciles Deferred Revenue for projects @ ME (until WD automated)
- Records Prepaids/Amortizations along with reconciliations
- Records Social listening allocation
- Make appropriate journal entries within the accounting system
- Analyze and review general ledger accounts as part of the monthly close cycle
- Assist with end of month and year-end close
- Assist with annual audit

- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and ask questions, if needed
What You Have in Your Background
- Bachelor in accounting/finance or 7 years of experience
- Strong understanding of accounting theory and processes
- Working within a team environment
