TRELLIS is Hiring a Part Time Billing Specialist Near Arden Hills, MN

What Will You Be Doing? You will work in the Juniper program and will

  • Work with, and build relationships with, many partners across the state, including Area Agencies on Aging, community-based organizations, health systems, and others
  • Prepare bills, invoices, and requests for payments, assuring accuracy.
  • Receive all partner invoices, print, and assign to proper funding source.
  • Track budgets with excel/finance software and note large expenses.
  • Provide support in determining plans for re-arranging funding if needed.
  • Provide support in drafting budget revision(s) and budget reports

What Qualification and Skills Will You Need?

  • A two-year degree in business, accounting, or related field or equivalent experience. Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience with billing and invoicing, preferably medical billing
  • Demonstrate technologically savvy with strong Excel skills
  • Of course, you will have a strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, effective written and verbal communication skills, effective problem-solving abilities and be flexible and adaptable as our priorities change.
  • You will also be an enthusiastic contributor to our work.

WORK SCHEDULE

This position is part-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 20 hours per week.

This position is Hybrid typically working two days in the office and three days at home.

Juniper is a program of Trellis. Juniper has a network of community-based program providers all focused on improving the health outcomes of older adult. We do this by offering evidence-based disease management and falls prevention programs in community settings across Minnesota. The Juniper network is a state-wide partnership of Minnesota's regional Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) and over 140 community-based social service organizations and healthcare sector program providers.
