Redmon Insurance Agency Collinsville & Edwardsville, IL
KEY NOTES:
- Compensation & benefits dependent on W-2 or 1099
- Primarily remote. Extend of in-office/zoom video conferencing with team dependent on agent/support team
- Location is open as position is primarily remote
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Serves as insurance producer; primary focus is commercial lines
- Generates prospects for new business
- Meets with prospects to build a relationship, gather underwriting and quote information, delivery proposals and earn business
- Primarily responsible for relationship management, new business development, and client account retention
- Serves as backup to administrative team in meeting current client needs
- Develop and maintain a working relationship with team members and various carrier representatives
- Complete training and maintain licensing associated with job function
- Performed related duties as needed
- Bachelors degree preferred; Associates degree suitable. High school education considered
- Prior successful commercial lines sales experience is required, and owning present book of business a plus
- Current insurance licensing
- Very strong interpersonal skills including the ability to connect with people
- Strong oral and written communication skills including computer literacy
- Very strong analytical skills including the ability to identify customer needs and insurance solutions
- A valid Illinois or Missouri drivers license
- May be required to work earlier or later than the normal workday
- Will require work outside the office, extended hours and client visits
