Job Summary:
Leads the finance department for the Bloomfield location. Maintains the integrity and accuracy of the
plant’s financial statements and reporting. Ensures that all plant financial activities are in accordance
with the company standard practices, GAAP and SOX requirements. Oversee accounts payables and
receivables execution and control. Provide problem-solving expertise on non-routine issues related to the
Finance and support other areas in business decisions with sound advice for financial and accounting
aspects.
Supervise the finance team located in Bloomfield, providing guidance, and managing individual
development and performance. Accountable in relevant aspects for leading key activities and providing
support to the Finance Director and local management team.
Essential Functions:
Controlling (30%)
Responsible for overall monthly closing submission, financial statement preparation, analysis and other
required reports to operations within defined deadlines. Provide explanations for spending variances,
inventory variances and balance sheet account questions.
Cost Accounting (20%)
Review and approve cost accounting data related to raw material, labor, overhead and inventory.
Work with other functional areas to analyze and provide cost information.
Analyze of transfer price and setting up and reviewing quarterly transfer price for intercompany
transactions (post validation by tax team in the USA and KPMG in Brazil).
Financial Planning and Analysis (20%)
Preparation of annual financial budget, generating all financials and prepare necessary supporting
documentation and justification.
Monthly review and explanation of operating results for Bloomfield, having sales, COGS and
operating expenses properly reviewed and significant variances explained.
Lead the physical inventory taken in relevant aspects and locations (plant and outside warehouses),
assure analysis and explanation of variances are accomplished, and having the adjustments
conducted and reconciled.
Tax Reporting (10%)
Assist corporate tax department with income tax returns
Review and prepare quarterly sales tax returns
Oversee and review filing of Canadian taxes
Managing Others (20%)
Directs, instructs, assigns work and follows up on the work of the team members
Completes the preparation of the team’s annual performance reviews, semiannual proficiency
evaluations, and disciplinary action as required.
Recommends and implements projects to improve the Finance Department .

Education and
Experience:.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Cost Accounting with
process product costing experience and some proven experience in Budgeting and Forecasting and/or
an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Software:
Intermediate knowledge of overall Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Teams, Access and others) and
ERP utilization experience.

3. Analysis of product cost and financial results.
4. Compliance with established procedures and internal controls evidenced by audit results.
5. Accurate and timely reporting to other functional areas. Tracked monthly in closing schedule.
6. Direct and oversee finance team for work development and good performance achievement.
