Overview

It is the primary responsibility of the Aesthetician to provide spa guests with the highest level of skin care treatments and knowledge, while ensuring a comfortable and relaxing spa experience. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices and procedures.

Specific Job Functions:

• Provide spa guests with a comfortable and relaxing experience while ensuring the utmost safety for guests.
• Ensure spa guests are given the highest level of customer service by providing the most current information and techniques in body treatments, scrubs, facials, waxing and makeup application.
• Cater to all spa guests using techniques and products customized to unique skin types and basic skin care needs.
• Stock linens and operating supplies.
• Clean and organize product storage.
• Provide customers with the highest level of skin-care treatments and knowledge.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable work environment.
• Perform other job related duties.

Responsibilities/Qualifications

• 600 hours of certified Esthetician education required.
• Esthetician license required.
• One year previous spa experience preferred.
• Two to five years previous customer service experience required.
• Must have a flexible schedule and excellent communication skills.
• Able to communicate in English both verbally and in written forms.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Basic knowledge of a spa program preferred.
• Familiarity with steam units, wax pots, galvanic, and high frequency machines required.
