Travelex Central Services is Hiring a Product Designer Near Peterborough, NH

Product Designer Full-Time, Permanent Remote Role purpose The Product Designer is responsible for ensuring our digital touch points are living and breathing Travelex brand, and where appropriate adapting the offline brand to suit a digital interface. Staying on top of the latest digital design trends and working to apply them to the Travelex product suite. You will be creating production ready designs for the website, mobile app and other Travelex interfaces. Working closely with front end developers to ensure the design makes it into the live environment as close to your original vision as possible with the technology in use. You will be co-creating and progressing the Travelex design system working to ensure the visual styles are consistent and current. You will be working closely with Senior Product Designer to conduct UX research and analysing outputs and translating the findings into your work. Key accountabilities and decision ownership: Producing production ready design assets for web, mobile and other digital devices across the Travelex product suite Create intuitive use Producing production ready design assets for web, mobile and other digital devices across the Travelex product suite Create intuitive user interfaces and experiences for customers, staff and other users of Travelex digital products Plan, design, organise, conduct and report on user research activities Produce concept sketches, wireframes, prototypes, interaction specs and other artefacts to support an effective user centred product development process Develop and maintain the Travelex design system Work to eradicate design debt and achieve consistency in all the Travelex digital interfaces and sites Create components, patterns and solutions that consider different contextual use cases, to ensure Travelex digital products are accessible, intuitive and painless Demonstrate the application of UX research findings, design principles and usability heuristics Work with Product and front-end engineering to ensure the best possible outcome from a visual and interaction design perspective Present and justify design decisions to the Product team and other senior stakeholdersr interfaces and experiences for customers, staff and other users of Travelex digital products Plan, design, organise, conduct and report on user research activities Produce concept sketches, wireframes, prototypes, interaction specs and other artefacts to support an effective user centred product development process Develop and maintain the Travelex design system Work to eradicate design debt and achieve consistency in all the Travelex digital interfaces and sites Applying the motion, typography, colour and layout techniques to ensure our interfaces are as delightful to use as they are intuitive and functional Work with Product and front-end engineering to ensure the best possible outcome from a visual and interaction design perspective Skills, knowledge, and experience: Must have: Process driven, with a meticulous approach to digital asset creation, file management and project documentation Experience applying brand styles to digital products and services An understanding of usability, interaction design and research theories and principles. Experience of developing sketches, wireframes and other design artefacts for digital design projects. Strong UI skills, with an understanding of designing for different media types Practical knowledge of UX role in agile Scrum methodology ways of working Interprets and applies data, UX research, and insight to inform design decisions Pragmatic and can balance needs of user and the business A question driven, user focused approach to problem solving The ability to present, listen and question during Product meeting scenarios A passion to evolve their knowledge and skills in the field of UX and UI design Preferred: Bachelor's degree in UXD or a relative qualification and/or experience Experience working within a global company, or corporate environment with remote teams Technical / professional qualifications and experience: Extensive experience building and managing design systems in Figma Working knowledge of MV testing and personalisation platforms Excellent knowledge of working tools i.e., Microsoft Office 365, Miro, Trello, Jira, and Confluence Keen interest in emerging technologies and design philosophies What’s in it for you?
