INCENTIVE RENTAL PROGRAM

WORK/LIFE BALANCE

Hours of operation: Sunday 12-5, Monday-Friday 9-6, Saturday 9-5.
Although schedules vary, generally you would work 40-45 hours a week.

GENERAL SUMMARY

As a Service Writer, your role is to work from the customer care counter to assist with walk in customers for Service as well as to coordinate deliveries with the sales departments. Your two primary customers are the Sales Department & Service Customers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales Department - responsibilities include scheduling the sold unit deliveries, incoming used internal inventory preps, and new incoming PDIs
  • Service Customers –responsibilities include writing up service customer repair orders when customers drop off their vehicles for service, communicating on the status of their vehicles while in for service, and closing out their work orders upon pick up

JOB TASKS

  • Updating sales on the status of the deliveries & inventory preps
  • Opening & closing RO’s for sales internals & retail customers
  • Updating customers on the status of their repairs every three days
  • Closing out customers RO’s when they pick-up and providing explanations of work performed

Flagging tech hours

  • Assist with charging parts out to RO’s as acquired by techs and reconcile
  • Arranging timely pick-ups for customer vehicles in for service
  • Complete daily end of day sales status report

EVALUATION

You will be evaluated primarily based on performance standards that measure the following activities:

  • Timely turnaround of sold deliveries to ensure they are in the delivery lane and fully inspected ideally 24 hours prior to delivery but no less than 4 hours
  • Ensuring quality customer communication that results in customers being contacted every three days on the status of their RV while in for service
  • Timely closing out of repair orders to ensure minimal to no aged(below 10%). Aged being consider Internal Sold RO’s > 10 days, Internal RO’s > 14 days, Retail & Warranty RO’s > 30 days.
  • CSI Customer Satisfaction Rating
  • Contribution towards sales goal achievement

You will also be evaluated on other factors, such as good attendance, positive attitude, and teamwork
