Job DescriptionMISSION:The full-time Area Supervisor will be responsible for managing operations for multiple multifamily (apartment) communities within an assigned district. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday. The Area Supervisor works alongside our frontline employees, splitting their time between recruiting, training and oversight of the remote workforce who service our communities. The main function of this role will be to ensure that day and nightly trash pick-up is completed per schedule to 100% satisfaction of our Clients! As we grow and bring on new communities, the Area Supervisor will coordinate with the field team to ensure a successful rollout and service launch.BENEFITS OF THE ROLE:Company Vehicle Provided at No Cost to Employee; Gas, Insurance and Maintenance all paid for!Incentive Program; 10% annually based on base salary divided into 4 quartersCompetitive Wage; annual salaryFlexible HoursEligible for company sponsored benefits (health, dental and vision)ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for ensuring satisfactory completion of doorstep trash/recycling collection on all scheduled services in assigned areaConduct on-site quality reviews of team and communities to ensure service is executed according to Trash Butler standards of service and safety policiesRecruit/train/onboard new staff as well as provide continuing education as neededTrack payroll for area and submit to FOQM semi-monthly for payroll processingMonitor staff check in/out and overall time to completion using our proprietary technologyOrganize and staff rollout/launch of service on new propertiesProvide on-call support to workforceManage workforce inventory/supplies; including Butler Uniform, Tote Bags, Etc.Work collaboratively with other business units as required to serve customerMust be able to lift up to 25 lbsOther duties as assignedREQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalent, AA degree preferred or workforce experienceExperience managing a remote workforce of up to 50 who work 5 – 7 days a week; roughly 2-3 hours per dayBasic employee relations experience as it relates to hiring and managementExperience in multi-site operationsExperience providing customer serviceExcellent oral and written communication skillsTHOSE THAT ARE MOST EFFECTIVE IN THIS ROLE EXHIBIT THE FOLLOWING BEHAVIORS:Strong planning, time management and organizational skillsStrong work ethic and quality improvement orientationAbility to build trust and rapport and effectively communicate with co-workers, employees and customersSelf-motivated and resourcefulAbility to work independentlyAble to self-manage with some supervisionCollaborative/team playerEmbody our core values: Building leaders, Always branding, Fun, enthusiastic team environment, Listen, fulfill & delightAbout Trash Butler:Have you lived in or visited an apartment community where the resident places the trash/recycling right outside their front door and it magically disappears?
