Work in office 1 to 2 days a week and work from home 3 to 4 days a weekBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Life Insurance, Flexible Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, and Holiday Pay As a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you’re responsible for the forecasting/modeling, budgeting and reporting of financial results and Key Performance Indicators (KPI). You’ll work closely with the operations and accounting teams in aligning forecasts, sales analysis, modeling and analyzing variances between actuals, plans and budget results. Additionally, you’ll participate in the creation of quarterly board meeting presentations, sales modeling and analysis, lender compliance reporting, weekly dashboard reporting and monthly executive reporting. You’ll work closely with the VP of Operations to align finance with business analytics to gain meaningful insights into data to support and report analysis across sales, marketing and delivery and you will have a team to help support the above-described. Your key personal competencies for success include the ability to master both strategic and operational issues, a strong technological aptitude, the ability to dynamically handle multiple competing priorities, and cross-cultural management skills What You’ll Be Doing Essential Functions The Director of FP&A will support TransPak Inc’s global FP&A systems architecture, business processes, and business development analysis. They will be a leader in developing a world class FP&A function The Director of FP&A will be responsible for the forecasting, budgeting and reporting of revenue, other financial results and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Leverage current data sets to drive improved and timely analytics and provide better foresight for executive team decision-making The Director of FP&A will play a key role in partnering with the Finance Leadership Team, Global Accounting, Regional Finance teams, and Strategy/Business Development Functions on organizational efficiency and process improvement initiatives to improve resource allocation and drive organizational cost savings Operate at multiple altitudes - have an in-depth knowledge of subject matter, models, and key drivers and at the same time be able to tell the story of our financial results Provide forward-looking financial guidance and analysis ensuring that effective reporting and controls are in place to help drive growth and profitability of the business Direct involvement with division managers and line of business leaders on Cost of Goods Sold projections, profit modeling, cost initiatives, and various financial/business management issues Prepare and maintain ad hoc financial and operational analyses as requested. Responsible for the mentoring, training and developing staff What We’d Like to See from You Required Qualifications Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent business experience 7-10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in finance for large, multi-national organizations. Experience in manufacturing and/or logistics industries is preferred Proven and effective leadership; must support a team-oriented approach Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Experience partnering and presenting to senior management and boards with an ability to convey complex financial information to a non-financial audience A proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with the immediate team, cross functional partners and function leads Unquestionably strong ethics and commitment to integrity Strong analytical ability driving strategic solutions for continuous improvement Must have Excel and Microsoft Office suite proficiency Ability to lead, supervise and guide a team in a fast-paced environment Highly Desired Qualifications Professional certifications and/or MBA Large banking systems experience Interested but Concerned You’re Not Qualified?
