Overview
The Marketing Coordinator’s role is to effectively oversee all of Rock-N-Water’s digital
marketing, managing the marketing budget, optimizing our visibility online, and ensuring that
all marketing material aligns with our brand identity.
Essential Functions:
1. Creating strategies to increase online traffic to RNW’s Website
2. Managing digital marketing (SEO, SEM, Social Media Marketing, etc.)
3. Analyzing stats effectively (tracking conversions, click rates, etc) and working to
improve them accordingly
4. Managing and overseeing RNW listings (paid and free)
5. Managing and interacting with people through Instagram, Facebook and other social
media platforms
6. Craft and send out monthly marketing email via mail chimp
Additional Functions:
1. Crafts Social Media marketing strategies to create brand name in Social Media and raise
awareness
2. Coordinates with Systems Tech to improve the user experience on RNW’s website
(design, content and usability)
3. Other duties as assigned by Camp Director.
Major Competency Areas:
1. Strong understanding of how to improve SEO
2. Experience with Google Analytics
3. Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work both independently and on a team
4. Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on both excellence and professionalism
Qualifications:
1. At least 2 years of experience in digital marketing
2. Valid California Driver’s License
3. Availability of up to 3 hours a week
