Job Description


Your Opportunity: 

We are looking for a Driver Recruiter with strong recruiting, and customer acquisition skills to join our trucking staffing company. In this role, you will use our ATS to find candidates, pre-screen applicants to ensure they meet DOT and company standards and schedule interviews. Our ideal candidate will also partner and collaborate with branch personnel, Regional leadership, Regional Recruiting Coordinators, Compliance Department, and clients to ensure hiring goals are achieved.  

The Day-to-Day Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Locate potential CDL drivers who meet DOT and company standards.
  • Managing and reviewing applications, evaluating candidates, and checking their suitability for opportunities
  • Communicate with candidates promptly and assist them. 
  • Pre-screen potential CDL drivers, Schedule calls and interviews 
  • Keep candidate informed during the hiring process about next steps 
  • Develop and oversee referral programs 
  • Schedule driver orientations and road test as needed. 
  • Place drivers on assignments, match and dispatch thru our ATS system
  • Communicate through the ATS with candidates and TransForce drivers.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records


Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of successful recruiting/relationship building or sales experience.
  • Recruiting or industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of general recruiting fundamentals
  • General knowledge of applicable employment and transportation regulations preferred 
  • Requires superior relationship building skills, strong communications, negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills, and a demonstrated ability to work in a fast based, high volume environment
  • Strong work ethic
  • Attention to detail and accuracy      
  • Capable of building working relationships with individuals over the phone
  • Ability to collaborate in a team working environment
  • Demonstrates strong collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiencies in Microsoft Office and web-based software
