Hiring immediatley for a Parts Clerk in Garden City, NY.

The Parts Clerks works in storage facilities, warehouses and stockrooms indoors and outside within Transdev’s Operations. The Parts Clerk insures accurate parts distribution and recording of all inventory items in the RTA system. Parts Clerks insure sufficient stock both using the RTA and Min/Max systems. The position of a parts clerk can be physically demanding and may require workers to lift over a specific amount of weight to perform the duties of the job.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Proven recordkeeping experience.
• Possession of a valid NY State Driver’s License.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and days off.
• Must possess excellent math ability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills are required to work in a stockroom or warehouse position.
• Must be a team player yet able to work well independently. 
• Must be able to work well with a diverse group of internal and external customers.
• Must be able to work well under pressure.
• Must be multi-tasking, dependable, and able to take charge. Must have a good sense of urgency

• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
