The Billing Specialist will perform routine professional billing work and encountering some difficult situations requiring investigation and/or reconciliations. Work includes the billing, analysis, and maintenance of the receivables.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with Transdev’s supplemental service providers to reconcile and process invoices for services rendered.
• Verify invoices rates against contractual agreements.
• Completing trip edit functions to ensure that trips performed are tracked using Transdev trip management software.
• Submitting trip performance data to Transdev’s clients and senior leadership.
• Assist in other clerical duties as assigned.
• Verifying compiled data from vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and revising billing data when errors are found .
• Creating billing documents.
• Resolving discrepancies on accounting records.
• Answering mail and telephone inquiries regarding rates, routing, and procedures.
• Sorting and filing correspondence and performing miscellaneous clerical duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, or GED required.
• Two (2) to (10) ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to one of the employment standards listed above and that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
• Must be a “self-starter” with strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize.
• Ability to organize and administer several tasks simultaneously.
• Computer proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work on-site in an office environment.
• Work onsite at office location in Portland, Oregon

 Successful candidates will be required to pass a mandatory drug test and a criminal background check.
