Job Description Summary Analyzes the annuity, mutual fund, life insurance and other investment options marketplace for trends, changes, and weaknesses to assess impact and opportunities for existing and potential Transamerica investment offerings. Coordinates product launch activities along with Product and Operational teams to ensure successful wholesaler and business development experience and readiness. Works closely with Transamerica Capital marketing and business teams to support marketing efforts and drive customer engagement Job Description Responsibilities: Accountable for the execution of ad hoc assignment/ special projects, as needed, directed toward strategic business growth. Collect relevant information from sales organization, market research, regulatory developments and other sources to help in the design of new products or product changes. Conduct research and gather insights to help Product Management Group develop long-term product roadmap. Assist with product strategist(s) to investigate potential new product opportunities based on these developments and other idea sources (initial market research) that align the product development function with the goals of the business unit and Aegon USA. Identify and solve product/pricing problems by performing analysis that involves retrieving and analyzing both internal and external data. Assist with analysis and implementation of changes to existing insurance products and the development of new products. Perform extensive product reviews that require analysis of trends, factors, issues, competitive analysis, and rate level indications. Assist with analyzing financial results, product profitability and forecasting, Assist in forecasting and modeling results of action plans. Communicate and collaborate with business partners in other functional areas, including marketing, finance, risk management, IT, and senior management. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in economics, business administration or related field. Compensation: The salary for this position generally ranges between $55,000 - $73,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2. Bonus Eligibility: This position is also typically eligible for an annual bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion at a rate of 7.5% . Working Environment: Employees will be assigned to one of the following work location designations: In office employees will perform all of their work at a Company office location. Hybrid employees will need to work at a Company office location at times and a remote work location (typically their home) at times. Commuting Remote employees will need to report to a Company office location at times, but will perform their work primarily remotely. Non-commuting Remote employees will not be assigned to report to a Company office location (although they may need to travel to a Company office upon request) and will perform their work remotely.
