Job Description 

The Project Manager will work with our GovCon client.

Responsibilities:

  • Client is seeking a client-centric leader with a good intuition of customer needs to lead a multi-disciplinary team of UX designers, technologists, business analysts, and training and communications personnel to establish and run a digital transformation center for a major Government agency.
  • Work with Customers to stand up the governance, processes, and tools to establish the Digital Transformation Center
  • Collaborate with technology, business, and other software delivery professionals to problem-solve individual Clients’ needs and business challenges
  • Present ideas and solutions to Clients and their stakeholders to plan new software projects
  • Provide clear direction, motivate and mentor creative the Groundswell delivery team
  • Supervise and provide quality oversight over all Groundswell delivery team and DTC outputs

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have experience orchestrating teams through a well-honed software delivery process to deliver working software to customers frequently, leveraging Agile delivery methods.
  • Prioritization of customer satisfaction and quality is mandatory, with strong project management skills including quality, risk, scope, cost, and velocity management. Finally, candidates must be able to form positive, meaningful, long-term relationships with their Customers.
  • ​​​​​​​Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Management, or a related field is strongly preferred
  • 5 years experience in project management for IT/engineering/software projects
  • 5 years of Salesforce software delivery experience is required for this role
  • Ability to listen to the Client and teams to seek to deliver software that will delight them
  • Proactively communicate to Clients and Groundswell leadership on project progress and any blockers – recognize when to ask for help when needed – and ask
  • Develop a repeatable, industrialized process to deliver high-quality working software quickly, on an agile basis
  • Experience providing complex cost allocations, chargebacks, and reporting, including cloud consumption, licensing, and labor Experience staffing a team that is scalable to accommodate varying levels of effort over time
  • Experience facilitating meetings
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent Salesforce platforms and development, and O&M teams
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. 

Education 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or a combination of training, certifications, and experience 

Certifications

  • An Agile certification is preferred but not required

Travel Requirements:

This position will involve no travel.
