The Agile Project Manager will work with our GovCon client.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Manager has content authority for the Test and Training Simulator Element (TTSE) Backlog.
  • Product Manager is responsible for identifying Customer needs, prioritizing Features, guiding the work through the Program Backlog, and developing the program Vision and Roadmap.
  • Product Manager owns the content authority for the TTSE team Product Backlog. Interface with customers to understand their needs, prioritize Capabilities, create the Solution vision and roadmap, define requirements, and guide work.
  • Responsible for definition and prioritization of product backlog/features based on customer requirements. Defines What, Why and When for Dev Teams.
  • Responsible for ensuring well defined and tested capabilities are built to CM and delivered to Formal Test in accordance with Release and Roadmap commitments.
  • Brief development status at weekly Customer status meetings
  • Coordinate with the development teams to receive team status and take necessary steps to ensure teams are meeting technical requirements on schedule.
  • Insure customer and development team bi-lateral communication.
  • Act as the focal point between the development teams and all other aspects of the program including Program Management, the customer, Technical Leadership, Functional leadership, CAMs, Quality, SEIT and the Environment team
  • Pro-actively work with the teams to resolve impediments, dependencies, and resource issues
  • Defines the team structure and member assignments within teams, balancing the teams based on planned work and available resources
  • Understand the proposed scope, current and future team capacity, and IMS/EVM planned hours to develop a roadmap that meets program schedule and costs commitments.
  • Remains cognizant of User and Customer Engagement activities and manages the role of sub-contractors within development activities to take advantage of their expertise and grow LM knowledge base.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Technical Leadership and/or Project Engineering experience on a Software Development project with experience in managing cost, schedule, and quality
  • Excellent understanding of Agile Methodologies and/or the Scaled Agile Framework and leading Agile teams as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, Business Owner, Release Train Engineer and/or Product Manager

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Simulator SW project experience
  • Demonstrated Leader with strong technical leadership experience and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer and stakeholder communication and collaboration with the ability to establish, foster and grow strong technical relationships with customers and employees at all levels
  • Experience building strategic and tactical roadmaps
  • Previous experience delivering highly reliable Communications / Ground subsystems
  • Military Communications Satellite background preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of DevSecOps
  • Working experience with Agile, automated test, continuous integration, and regression testing
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of earned value management
  • Working knowledge of Clear Case / Clear Quest
  • Demonstrated ability as team player to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with customers/team members
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage change, identify issues, work with stakeholders to develop solutions
  • Multi-discipline program experience to include software, engineering, environment, and test
  • Proven success delivering new business and defining and implementing capture strategies
  • Previous experience supporting ECPs/proposals for communications / ground components or subsystems.

Clearance 

  • Active DOD Security clearance is required. 

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. 

Education 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or a combination of training, certifications, and experience

  • No certifications are required.

Travel Requirements:

This position will involve no travel.
