Job Location: Chicago, IL
Target Salary: $55,000 - $70,000
Trajektory is looking for a hardworking marketer to ideate and execute the marketing effort for the organization. This role will report to the Director of Marketing. The ideal candidate is someone who has a love of marketing and a firm grasp of marketing execution. This person has a desire to wear a lot of different hats when it comes to providing best-in-class marketing strategies and content.

Job Summary
The Trajektory team is looking for an ambitious, creative, and resourceful Marketing Manager to contribute to its quickly growing team and client base. The Marketing Manager will be part of a small but ambitious marketing team at Trajektory and will be expected to work and assist cross-functionally with the sales team, client success team, and business intelligence team. They will be responsible for executing on the full-funnel marketing strategy including social media, email marketing, conference strategies, website updates, blog writing, case studies, and more.
Key Responsibilities
  • Execute a cohesive content strategy, focusing on audience growth, engagement, and monetization.
  • Create and execute a social media content calendar including thought leadership, client success stories, internal success stories, and data storytelling moments
  • Research and connect with conferences focusing on obtaining speaking positions
  • Deliver high-quality content including social campaigns, videos, research-led narratives, and blog content.
  • Use sports and data knowledge, current events, and news to determine the agenda, concepts, and content.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, sales, insights and analysts, to deliver thought leadership content and accurate positioning of brand, products, and solutions.
  • Continually raise the bar on development of compelling, data-driven storytelling with a customer focus.
  • Identify internal data needs to support thought leadership, storytelling, and campaign strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to build out white papers, survey reports, case studies and informational materials.
  • Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities to stay current on latest marketing and messaging trends.
  • Write industry-desired blog content to be posted on our website and used as marketing content
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/ Skill Requirements
  • Be a good human.
  • 1-3 years of marketing experience.
  • Immense curiosity on getting to WHY.
  • Ability to learn quickly and motivation to self-teach.
  • Organized, thorough, and detail-oriented.
  • Positive mindset and strong team spirit.
  • Not Required, but a Plus: experience with creating content calendars and using social scheduling tools.
  • Not Required, but a Plus: creative writer - experience writing blogs, websites, captions, or case studies.
  • Not Required, but a Plus: experience/understanding of the sports industry and the pains that plague the sponsorship industry.
  • Bonus Points: Sense of humor… especially data-related or dad jokes.
